THE SITKA ANIMAL SHELTER IS HAVING IT'S SPRING RABIES CLINIC AND DOG WASH THE SATURDAY BEFORE MOTHERS DAY ON MAY 12TH, 2007. IT WILL BE HELD AT THE SITKA ANIMAL SHELTER FROM 9AM TO NOON.
A FREE RABIES VACCINATION WILL BE OFFERED TO ANY NEW DOG LICENSED DURING THE CLINIC. A FIVE-IN-ONE PARVO VACCINATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR $5.00 TO ANY DOG BROUGHT TO THE SHETLER DURING THIS CLINIC.
DURING THE CLINIC, THE K-9 UNIT OF THE SITKA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT. WILL BE HOLDING A DOG WASH IN CONJUCTION WITH THE RABIES CLINIC. THEY WILL OFFER DOG WASHES: SMALL DOGS $5.00 DONATION, MEDIUM DOG $10.00 DONATION, AND LARGE DOGS WILL BE WASHED FOR $15.00 DONATION. ALL FEES RAISED DURING THE DOG WASH WILL GO TO FURTHER EDUCATION FOR THE K-9 UNIT.

The money raised through this project will go to the building fund for the addition of a "Visitation" room to the existing Animal Shelter Building.
