Government Relations

The Government Relations Director, Marlene Campbell, coordinates City and Borough policies and priorities with other municipalities, state and federal agencies and other related groups. The Government Relations Director takes the lead on both Legislative and Congressional priorities and funding requests, coordinates advocacy trips, and is the primary contact with the City's lobbyist, Larry Markley. She also serves as CBS Coastal Management Coordinator, dealing with ACMP, Sitka Coastal Plan, consistency, permitting, coastal zone, and resource issues.

Deputy Clerk Sara Peterson provides production and grant support services on an as-needed basis.
