Welcome to the City and Borough of Sitka

We are a full service government providing Water, Electricity, Police, Fire, Library, Harbors, Roads, Wastewater and Solid Waste Stream Management, Finance, Planning, Assessing, Building, Parks And Recreation, Government Relations, Information Management, Public Works, Industrial Park management, and Legal services to the citizens and Assembly of our fair City and Borough.

The City government additionally provides major support to our schools and Community Hospital as well as numerous other entities in Sitka.
