The City and Borough of Sitka has grant funding to construct a Sea Walk from the Crescent Harbor Tennis Courts to Sitka National Historic Park. Opportunity workshops were held on September 12, 2011 to allow the public to bring their ideas to the table and participate in the design process. Existing conditions along the project limits were highlighted and design examples from other sea walks and trails in Alaska and elsewhere were presented. A summary of the public comments from those workshops will be added to this website when available.
More details to follow soon.
