Job Description:
The heavy equipment operator will help support the Public Works Department to ensure winter operations are completed satisfactorily. An individual in this task will support utility work, such as street, drain, or underground piping work. This position will also be required to mobilize equipment and will require a CDL. Additionally, this individual will help the snow removal process by operating various types of equipment such as sand trucks with belly plows, Chemical spread with front end plows, graders, excavators, loaders for stacking, and loaders with trap plows. The work will be as needed/on call.
