There will be an advisory vote regarding the sale of the former Sitka Community Hospital (SCH) properties at the October 5, 2021, Municipal Election. The City and Brough of Sitka obtained an independent appraisal in April. SEARHC hired the same appraiser in June prior to their bid submission for the former SCH properties as CBS did not have an exclusivity agreement. The appraisal was kept confidential during the evaluation process.
