🚧 Airport Loading Zone Advisory – Limited Access Due to Construction

As part of Phase 2 of the Sitka Rocky Gutierrez Airport Terminal Improvement Project, construction is now underway along the front of the terminal building.

What to Expect:

• Loading zone space is extremely limited during this time.
• The yellow-painted curb indicates the only active loading zone available.
• Please use the parking lot for passenger drop-offs and pick-ups whenever possible.
• Do not stop in the drive-through or turning lanes—this creates traffic hazards and delays.

We ask that the limited loading area be reserved for elders, individuals with disabilities, or quick curbside loading only.

Construction is expected to continue through September 2025. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve Sitka’s airport facilities.
