Regular Municipal Election

The Clerk's office is responsible for supervising and running the local municipal election and assisting the State in statewide elections. The Clerk's office endeavors to conduct elections with the highest integrity possible.

The following vacancies are to be filled through a regular election of the City and Borough of Sitka on October 1, 2024: 

  • one Mayor seat (2-year term), 
  • two Assembly Member seats (3-year terms)
  • two School Board Member seats (3-year terms)
