Summer dinosaurs for adoption at Sitka Public Library

Children 5-9 are invited to “Unearth a Story” and bring home a prehistoric friend adopting their very own small stuffed dinosaur at Sitka Public Library. Participants will be required to sign a certificate promising to read to their friend all summer long.

Earring Workshop with Cayla McCutcheon

Sitka artist Cayla McCutcheon will offer two earring-making workshops on Saturday, May 30th at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the Sitka Public Library Multipurpose Room. Participants will learn the basics of jewelry making and create their own teardrop or hoop earrings using copper and beads. Summer Tongass Tumblers Gymnastics

Classes are available for students 18 months old to 11 years old with options available in June and July.
