The City of Sitka would like to inform the public of the temporary closure of the Swan Lake Senior Center, effective from Monday, March 23 through Sunday, May 31, 2026.
The City and Borough of Sitka is currently experiencing reduced snow removal capacity due to three key pieces of heavy equipment being out of service. Public Works crews have adjusted operations and are continuing to clear priority routes; however, progress may be slower than usual as a result.
