The City and Borough of Sitka Harbor Department operates and maintains 5 boat harbors: Crescent, Sealing Cove, ANB, Thomsen and Eliason Harbors. Available amenities include a tidal grid, gear work float and a drive down load/unload zone. The Port Facility (City Wall) offers moorage for vessels up to 300’ in length and is equipped with a hoist capable of handling loads up to 1,500 lbs.
The Sitka Harbor system accommodates commercial, recreation and charter vessels as well as several large yachts during the summer. Conveniently located within walking distance of a grocery store, marine supply store, restaurants and downtown. Restrooms and shower facilities are available on site above Eliason Harbor.
The City and Borough of Sitka Harbor Department would like to remind harbor users to conserve water by turning off water hoses that are available for use on the harbor docks. Conserving water by turning off the hoses will reduce water and wastewater treatment costs.

Emergency Notification System
The City of Sitka has contracted with Emergency Communications Network to license its CodeRED high-speed notification solution. The CodeRED system provides the police department dispatch center the ability to quickly deliver messages to targeted areas or the entire borough. Since this is a geographically based system, accurate addresses and phone numbers are required for it to work effectively. The data collected will only be used for emergency notification purposes.
