Stay and Play Program at the Library

12 May 2026 Babies, toddlers, and siblings up to five-years-old are invited to the Stay and Play Program at Sitka Public Library. Programs during the summer will run the following Tuesdays from 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the Sitka Public Library's multipurpose room: May 5, May 12, June 9, June 16, June 23, July 14, July 21, and July 28. This is a self-guided program.

Free Summer Breakfast at the Library

03 Jun 2026 Sitka Public Library's free grab-n-go Summer Breakfast program will run every Wednesday through the summer starting June 3 and ending July 29, from 10:00 until bags are gone. Youth are welcome to pick up a free bagged snack at the library’s ocean side window. 20 bags are available first come, first served.

Summer Schedule-Preschool Storytime at Sitka Public Library

11 Jun 2026 Sitka Public Library’s Preschool Storytime will be offered the following Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. at the library’s multipurpose room: May 7, June 11, June 18, June 25, July 9, July 16, July 23, and July 30.
