Swan Lake Senior Center Closure for Maintenance

The City of Sitka would like to inform the public of the temporary closure of the Swan Lake Senior Center, effective from Monday, March 23 through Sunday, May 31, 2026. This scheduled closure is necessary to perform essential, large-scale maintenance on the facility's fire sprinkler system. These upgrades are a critical part of the City’s commitment to ensuring the long-term safety and well-being of our community, and staff.

During this period, all public access to the building and regularly scheduled in-person programming will be suspended. We understand the importance of the center as a hub for connection and support, and we appreciate your patience as we complete these vital safety improvements.
