Sitka Residents Asked to Inspect Heating Fuel Tanks

Residents are strongly encouraged to inspect their home heating fuel tanks and lines for potential leaks. Things to check include tanks emptying faster than usual, visible drips or pooling fuel, or a strong fuel odor near your tank or along fuel lines.

Airport Entrance and Loading Zone Change

Airport Temperature Changes

As part of the Airport Terminal Improvement Project, the City and Borough of Sitka will be replacing HVAC systems in the existing terminal building of the Sitka Rocky Gutierrez Airport over the coming months. During portions of this work, heating services may be temporarily limited.

Airport Checked Baggage Screening Notice

Work Float Closure for Repairs
