Adoption Procedures

Adoptions can be arranged at the Sitka Animal Control Shelter by appointment only, (907) 966-5768.

Sitka Animal Control adoption screening process includes:

• completing a thorough application
• providing proof of address
• written permission from landlords

Please be aware that not all adoption application are approved. Sitka Animal Control reserves the right to not approve an adoption. Animal adoption visits are by appointment only.
