In observance of Alaska Day, City and Borough of Sitka offices will be closed on Monday, October 19, 2026. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, October 20.
Essential services, including police, fire, emergency medical response, and dispatch services, will remain in operation.
Residents are encouraged to check directly with individual facilities regarding holiday hours, as some services and facilities may operate on modified schedules.
