The Sitka Police Department and Sitka Harbor Department remind dog owners to clean up after their pets and follow leash requirements in public spaces and harbor areas. Cleaning up after pets and following leash requirements helps keep Sitka’s public spaces clean and enjoyable for everyone.
Both departments will be monitoring these areas for compliance with local regulations, including proper disposal of dog waste and leash requirements. Violations may be subject to enforcement.
