Public Discussion on the Proposed Commercial Passenger Vehicle Ordinance
The public is invited to an informal meeting with Assembly Members Christianson and Saline to discuss the proposed Commercial Passenger Vehicle Ordinance. The Ordinance would repeal the City’s existing “Taxicabs” chapter (Sitka General Code Chapter 6.30) and replace it with a new chapter titled “Commercial Passenger Vehicles.” The meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 21, at 6:00 p.m. in Meeting Room 1 at Harrigan Centennial Hall.
The proposed ordinance and supporting materials are available for review online at www.cityofsitka.com/CPVOrdinance, or in person at the Municipal Clerk's Office, City Hall, 100 Lincoln Street, Floor 3.
Those unable to attend may submit written comments by email to clerk@cityofsitka.org no later than noon on Tuesday, October 20.
