Sitka Public Library is thrilled to announce our 2026 Summer Reading Program theme: “Unearth a Story” For 2026, we invite readers of all ages to read something new, make something cool, and explore our world while celebrating America 250th. Our program is designed to inspire and engage readers of all ages. Program highlights are exciting learning challenges, interactive programming, fun and games, and grand prizes.
The Summer Reading Program kicks off on Saturday, May 30 and runs through August 8. Registration is free and open to all community members. To sign up or learn more about the program, visit the Sitka Public Library’s social media, or stop by the library.
