Sitka School District Facility Use Policy

The Parks and Recreation Division manages all rentals at Sitka School District buildings outside of school hours (8am-3:30pm). We offer exclusive use reservations, ensuring that your team, instructional group or private rental has sole access to a facility during your booked time slot.

Our convenient online reservation system is currently available for requests at the following Blatchley Middle school areas:

  • Main Gym - (clean gym shoes required) ball sport play, open recreation, workout groups, etc. 
  • Multipurpose Room (MPR) - great for birthday parties, social gatherings with food, skate rentals, etc
  • Commons - birthday parties, after pool rental gatherings, social gatherings with food, etc
  • Inside Gym Running Track - workout group

Reservation requests can be coordinated for other Sitka School District spaces by contacting the Parks and Recreation Office.
