The C.L. Andrews Collection
Consisting of approximately 1,900 cataloged volumes, a number of periodicals, folders of documentation, maps, and newspapers published in and around Alaska. There are voluminous notes relating to the history of Alaska from the early days of exploration and fur trading through the late 1900s.

Alaska State Library Talking Book Center
The Alaska State Library Talking Book Center is a cooperative effort between the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled, the Alaska State Library, and the Utah State Library. It provides talking books and Braille service for Alaskans who cannot access standard print materials. Any resident who cannot hold a book or read standard print can apply to borrow these materials. Books, magazine, and playback equipment will be mailed postage-free directly to the borrower. Register online here.
