Starting Saturday, May 30 at Sitka Public Library, kids aged 6 to 9 years-old can participate in the summer Reading Dragons and Friends program. This is a collectable card game that rewards kids for reading!

Sitka Babies and Books and Sitka Public Library invite babies, toddlers and preschoolers to a “This is Ballet” program at the library on Saturday, August 8 at 10:30 am, at Sitka Public Library.
The Sitka Police Department invites the community to Sitka Night Out on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the covered area and playground at Keet Gooshi Heen Elementary School.

The City and Borough of Sitka invites you to meet Fire Chief Candidate Brian McLaughlin in a Meet-and-Greet from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13 at the Fire Hall, 209 Lake Street.
The City and Borough of Sitka Harbor Office, located at 617 Katlian Avenue, will close at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10.
