In 2024, a series of experts joined hosts at the local radio station KCAW to describe how their topics connect, often indirectly, to Sitka's electric grid.

Energy Quest: Sitka's Path to 2050

Energy Quest: Sitka's Path to 2050 is a custom boardgame that facilitates the creation of personalized visions and pathways to Sitka in 25 years.

Community Energy Planning Workshop

On May 11, 2026, the CBS Sustainability Commission, energy engineers, and Spruce Root and the public came together to make Sitka's energy future affordable, reliable, self-sufficient, and innovative!
