On May 11, 2026, the CBS Sustainability Commission, energy engineers, and Spruce Root and the public came together to make Sitka's energy future affordable, reliable, self-sufficient, and innovative! Participation from the workshop was used to develop a roadmap for community and policy actions that advance a shared energy vision of Sitka's future.
